In Animal Crossing: New Horizons, mushrooms are crafting materials that can be found near hardwood and cedar trees during November in the northern hemisphere, and during May in the southern hemisphere. The player can also find mushrooms on a boat tour island.

Rare Mushrooms are more likely to appear when your town has a perfect rating. To find Rare Mushrooms, keep an eye on the ground near trees. Unlike the rest of the mushrooms in acnh, Rare Mushrooms are buried beneath the ground.
