Disney Springs always has chocolate and treats in bundles for Valentine's Day at Disney World. It's the perfect place for a romantic stroll. Whether it's Valentine's Day or any day that you want to spark romance, there are plenty of ways to show your love at Disney World. Each February, Disney World has special offerings for Valentine's Day. Usually, it is just themed food, though sometimes there can be special photo-ops, activities or live entertainment.

The weather is beautiful, crowds tend to be on the low side, and the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts is in full swing. When you visit around Valentine's Day, there are usually some fun holiday-themed foods and Disney PhotoPass props and Magic Shots available as well.

Traditionally, you will not find an excess of hearts and cupid decorations at the Walt Disney World Resort during Valentine's Day, however. During previous years, you can find the holiday represented with themed food, Disney PhotoPass props, and other more subtle nods that help you know that love is in the air.

Sweethearts' Nite is a themed, four-hour party that offers swoon-worthy entertainment. The party can be so much fun with music, special character meet-and-greets, photo-ops, themed dance parties and sometimes even a cavalcade. It's one of many romantic things to do at Disneyland this time of year.

Sweethearts' Nite is offered on Jan. 23, 25, 30, Feb. 1, 6, 8, 12 & 14, 2024, at Disneyland Park. Tickets go on sale December 12 for Magic Key holders and December 14 for general admission.

Tuesdays tend to be the slowest day at Magic Kingdom. This is mostly because many families will start a seven-day Disney World vacation on a Sunday or Monday with the Magic Kingdom park being the first park they visit.

As far as crowds go, Valentine's Day itself has no appreciable impact on traffic. But the parks do see elevated crowds because of Presidents Day, which is Feb. 19, 2024. Many people book their vacation around the federal holiday, boosting crowds in the park.

Many of the Valentine's-themed specialty items are usually offered for a short window around February 14, but you may find a few that stick around for longer, especially in the restaurants and shops of the Downtown Disney District.

The average high temperature at the Walt Disney World Resort ranges from about 70 to 75 degrees. The evenings and early mornings can get a little cooler, so a hooded sweatshirt or light coat is always a good idea when heading out to the parks during those hours.

February also hosts key events such as the Disney Princess Half Marathon and Presidents' Day week. While these events can create a lively atmosphere, they also draw crowds.
