Tips for Getting Started With Your Cricut
As much as you want to just go make something, it’s best to learn a few things first.
First, go follow Cricut on YouTube where you will find tons of very helpful videos. Begin at the beginning by watching the Design Space for Beginners video. It’s right here below for ya.
Next, choose your first project. All of these are good beginner Cricut projects with easy to follow tutorials. I made the Autumn coffee mugs using Dollar Tree blank mugs. Be sure to check that one out.
Some projects, like making pantry labels will only require the vinyl. You would be adding the labels to containers you already own. See how great your Cricut is going to be around the house!
Now, make a list of the supplies you will need for your project and either go make the purchases or order them online.
Where To Find Cricut Blanks and Supplies
A great place to find blanks is Dollar Tree. You can shop Dollar Tree online and pick up in store which is a wise thing to do since things disappear so fast at Dollar Tree.
Cricut is always having a sale so don’t count their site out. Many times their sale prices beat the craft store sale prices, you have to check.
Do you enjoy going into the store and looking at things so you can pick them up and check it out? Me too, sometimes. Michael’s has an entire row dedicated to Cricut. Watch for sales!
